Broken Calculator

Materials: a calculator for each player

Number of Players: 2 or more

Directions:

1. Players pretend that one of the number keys on the calculator is broken

2. One player says a number.

3. All players then try to display that number on the calculator without using the "Broken" key.

 

Example:

Pretend that the 8 key is "broken." Display the number 18.

Here are some possible answers:

[3] [x] [6] [=]

[9] [+] [9] [=]

[1] [9] [-] [1] [=]
