Number sentence
Two groups of mathematical symbols connected by a relation symbol (=, >, <, ≠). Mathematical symbols on each side of the number sentence can include numbers, letters for unknown values and/or operation symbols (+, -, *, or ÷). Number sentences often contain grouping symbols like parentheses. For example, 2 _ (3 + 4) - 6 < 30 ÷// 3 and 4 _ m = 100 are number sentences.
